Monthly Stamper's Club

In this month’s club we made a beautiful card using Stampin’ Up! Birthday Bloom, I used the largest stamp in the set to create a beautiful collage background. I used Stampin’ Up! archival Black ink it gives a clean crisped stamped image. The I created graduating banners that are so easy to use with Banner Framelits dies. On the small white banner embossed the small rose using Veramark  ink and silver embossing powder, then heat set the image. The follow was then colored using new in color Flirty Flamingo ink and Aqua painter. Accented with coordinating in color ribbon. I just love Black and White cards.

Let's try something new

Sometimes the hardest thing for me in creating is deciding where my items will be on my card. So this morning after a little research I decided to try a sketch challenge along with a color challenge along with it. These are the colors and the sketch that I have selected. Come on give it a try; I love to see what you created.

One of my favorite techniques is to water color. I often laugh to myself with all of this craze of adult coloring, us stampers have been doing it for years. Water coloring is easy to do when you use a fine detailed stamp, such as "You've Got This" stamp set. The gorgeous line art from the You'e Got This stamp set works great for several techniques, just like these lovelies that were water colored with an aqua painter.

Men's-Boy Cards

With Father’s Day just around the corner, my most request classes are for men’s cards. Um is interesting that as card makers we can make all kinds of cards using many different types of mediums and colors. But for men’s card we get stuck and believe all men’s cards need to be brown or blue. They also need to have a manly image such as car, truck or ship.Cards for men don’t have to lack color and personality. Add that pop color to your neutral pallet. Here are some samples that I have created:
